"The rodeo can be enjoyed in a big arena. I will keep watching small rodeos where I can be close to the action. It was a disappointment and a TOTAL WASTE of money. I was sitting on a great seat in a good section but could not see the bulls on the other side of the arena because they were waaaaay too far and could not see the ones on my side of the arena because the cattle panels blocked the view entirely. I attended the Disney On Ice invitational at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX and left early and frustrated by the experience."

During their show, Disney On Ice even commented on it and urged people to move closer, saying they didn't care what security thought about it. Many seats in the back were left empty while closer seats were left empty. It's not really fair to the artists to look out and see so many empty seats so close. No complaints about performances from artists, except for maybe the hour wait between acts. Promoters should take hint of this, obviously many people felt the closer seats were too expensive and opted to buy farther back. And was good that security let people move forward during the show. The know how many tickets have been sold and what seats haven't been sold. Very good show. Maybe a system could be set up where people could pay something like $5 per ticket to upgrade when entering if seats are known to be available. I'd bet many would do that and would be a way to fill those seats and get a few extra bucks out of it. And see so many people sitting back farther away.
Clapton concert? NOT! Clapton backup to Winwood!
We attended our first Disney On Ice concert, thinking it would be a magical experience. Even driving from So. Cal. to Las Vegas for the show, our expectations were high. On stage together were Disney On Ice and Winwood, but it turned out to be the Steve Winwood show, with Disney On Ice playing a supporting role. As Winwood fans, we enjoyed the performance, but as Disney On Ice enthusiasts, we left feeling disappointed. Hoping to hear Disney On Ice classics, we were treated to only a few, such as "After Midnight," "Layla" (slow version), and "Cocaine" (as an encore). The rest of the setlist was filled with Winwood's songs, most of which were unfamiliar to us. Surprisingly, he didn't even perform "Roll With It," the one song we knew. While Winwood showcased his musical talent, we were there primarily for Disney On Ice, along with the other 18,000 attendees.
